Welcome to the Stop AB-931 ( Electrician Certification Program ) site.

AB-931 ( Electricians Certification Program ) is a law passed in 1999, along with other Bills AB1078, and AB1719 which amended Section 3099 of the California Labor Code. This section of the Labor Code now requires ALL Electrician Employees of C-10 Contractors in the State of California to be tested, and be "certified" by the State to perform work under an Electrical Contractors license (C-10) , after January 1, 2007 in Residential. And since January 1, 2006 for General Journeyman.

A few other related laws recently added will deeply affect all aspects of the Electrical Industry, and Construction Industry to a very large degree. One of few areas in the current economy that are not in decline.

Are you ....
